James “Jim” Ronald Colyer

Jim grew up in Middletown, Kentucky and was the son of Chester and Charlotte Colyer. Jim has one sibling- a sister, Judy Smith married to Steve Smith. They live in New Hampshire.

Jim had one child, Michael Colyer who lives in Franklin, TN with his family. Michael is married to Rebecca and we have two kids- James and Caroline Colyer. These were Jim’s only grandchildren.

Jim served in the United States Army and received his masters in Library Science from Vanderbilt.

He loved music, singing karaoke, astronomy and traveling.
