James “Jim” Harold Agnew, 92, of Madison passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Josephine Agnew; sons, Dennis (Suzanne) Agnew, and Jimmy Agnew; daughter, Daphne (Richard) Tidmore; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Charles (Ruth) Agnew, and Louise Whitcomb.
Mr. Agnew was owner and operator of Agnew Ambulance Service from 1959 – 1974, which was the first ambulance service in Huntsville and Madison County. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Visitation is Sunday, April 26, 2020, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service on Monday, April 27, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Hampton Cove Cemetery officiated by Pastor Dennis Agnew and Rev. Bobby Burt.
