James “Jim” Edward Krawcyk passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026 after an extended illness. The family will have visitation Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Valhalla Funeral Home from 12-2pm with a funeral service following at 2pm.
Jim was born in Warwick, New York on February 8, 1942. He grew up in Florida, New York and moved to Huntsville in 1969. Jim loved working on his 1963 Chevy Impala and being outside working in his yard, but his biggest love was his family. He was always joking with those around him and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Judy. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Carl Billings; granddaughters Emmy and Lily Billings; sisters Louise Colotti and Frances Krawcyk; sisters-in-law Sherry Hittson and Connie Bryant; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Krawcyk and Stella Krawcyk, his sister Charlotte Krawcyk, his son Chris Krawcyk, and grandson Connor Billings.
