James “Jim” D. Lawson, age 86 of Franklin, TN passed away October 4, 2019. Born in Nashville, TN to the late Jasper & Maggie Capps Lawson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Margie Floyd Lawson. Survived by his daughters, Karen (John) Gore and Letha Chandler; brother, Morris (Carol) Lawson; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Don) Pyron, Pat Hilton and Helen (Jack) Corn; grandchildren, Kari Hohensee, James “Jim” (Katie) Gore and Chelsea (Andy) Holden; great-grandchildren, Jake Hohensee, Kaleigh Hohensee, Mason Gore and Levi Gore. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Monday, October 7, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Cynthia Calisi, caregivers from Willowbrook Hospice: Tracy, Danielle and Tanya, private caregivers: Angela, Bonnie and Tammy.
