James Jerry Hart – Obituary

 James Jerry Hart age 83, of Waterloo, AL. passed away Saturday March 30, 2019. Jerry was owner and operator of Harts RV Park and Campground in Waterloo AL. In the 60’s he was owner and operator of Waterloo Marina, he also was a ham radio service operator since he was in high school. Jerry also served his  country in the United States Military.  No services planned at Jerry’s request.

Jerry was a field engineer for RCA.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; LaRue Ecker Hart Sr. and Kathryn Powell Hart, Brother LaRue Ecker Hart Jr.

Jerry was survived by his wife of 34 years Elizabeth “ Bettina” West Hart.

Family has requested no flowers, if you would like to remember Jerry donations may be made to greatcyclechallenge.com/Riders/elizabethhart. an annual bicycle ride that his wife will ride in is memory this June. This is a annual bike ride to help raise money for childhood cancer. Also you can give to HASRA.org a local animal rescue he supported

Jerry was so proud of Elizabeth for being # 1 fundraiser in Alabama the last 2years.

Colbert memorial is assisting the family.
