James “J.D.” David Casteel, age 76, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at NHC Columbia.
J.D. was born to James Harrison Casteel and Daisy Cox Casteel in Lawrence County, Tennessee.
J.D. is survived by his sister Mary (Glen) Campbell of Columbia, Tennessee and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
J.D. was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Slaughter Casteel.
The family will visit with friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Funeral services will immediately follow on February 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
