James Henry Smith, Sr. age 92 of Florence, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m.-Noon at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at Noon in the funeral home chapel with Brother Kevin Dillon officiating. Burial will be at Florence City Cemetery.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in World War II.
Preceding him in death are his wife, Ruby Pearlene Alexander Smith; Son, Jerry Ray Smith; Daughter, Ruby Alexis Smith.
Survivors include his children, Spencer F. Smith (Jean) of Cody, Wyoming, James H. Smith (Lamanda) and Lucrecia D. Patterson both of Florence. 12 Grandchildren, and numerous Great-grandchildren. You may sign the guest register at sprywilliams.com
