Funeral services for Mr. James Harold Jowers, age 82, are scheduled for 11 am, Monday, June 2, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens with full military honors. Mr. Jowers passed away early Friday in Humboldt. He was born February 29, 1932 in Henderson County to the late Cecil Baxter and Dixie Mae Davis Jowers. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired from the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Patty Jane Jowers and one grandson, Joshua Michael Jowers. Survivors include his son, Mike Jowers of Lexington; his daughter, Mary Jane Jowers of Jackson; his brother, Howard Jowers of Lexington; six grandchildren, Jamie Berkley, Katie, Abbie, and Madie Jowers, Lindsay Hill, and Kayleigh McCaslin; and two great grandchildren, Joshua Berkley and Mathew Taylor.
