James Hansel Thomas, age 96 of Nauvoo, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at Double Springs Church of Christ, funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Vance Hutton will officiate.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his Parents-Willie and Mary Thomas; Wives-Ruth Thomas and Gladys Thomas; Brothers-Stancil Thomas and Ed Thomas; Daughter-Deborah Starr.
He is survived by his Son-Randy Thomas (Doreen); Son-in-law-Norman Starr; Grandchildren-Kimberly McCleney (Scott), Wade Starr (Amanda), Nathaniel Thomas (Anna Rose) and Mitchell Thomas (Cayleigh); Great Grandchildren-Dylan McCleney, Mason McCleney, Beau Thomas and Wells Thomas.
