James H. “Jim” Bryson, 72, died Monday, October 5, 2020 at Red Bay Hospital. He was born in Mississippi and had worked as a hardware salesman for over thirty years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam.
There will be no funeral services. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL assisted the family.
He is survived by his wife – Lucille Bryson; one sister – Polly Garnet; step-children – David Grimes (Tonia) and Dana Grimes (Ros Barker); step-grandchildren – Brady Grimes (Holley), Kara Grimes (Fiancé Kevin McClaran), Devin Nichols and Hayden Nichols and special friend – Mike Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Carmen Coggins Bryson and a sister, Mary Helen Cox.

Jim was also survived by his ex -wife , Mary Bryson, of 43 years. As well as 2 step children, 3 step grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
