Rev. James Graham Berry (“Jim”), 91, of Huntsville, was a loving husband, good father and fun “Grandaddy”. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ruth T. and Samuel W.; two brothers, Samuel W. and Edwin T.; and one sister, Mary Ruth Berry Gragg.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Nellie Ruth Bellenger Berry; his sister, Dottie Rose Monks; and three daughters, Mrs. Doug Bennett (Alisa), Mrs. Len Bullard ( Dana ) and Mrs. Dale Bowen (Carol). He also leaves six grandchildren, James and Anna Bennett, Daniel and Kelly Bullard, and Michael (wife Sims) and Kiley Bowen, along with two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Ellie Bowen.

“Jim” served as pastor for many United Methodist Churches in his long ministry career. He was also instrumental in the establishment of the HOPE (Huntsville Opportunity for the Elderly) program, including the Senior Center and Meals on Wheels. He had many interests throughout his life and always enjoyed being with his friends and family. He never met a stranger.

There was a private family service.
