Mr. James Gordon Johnson, age 77 of Madison, AL passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Johnson was born on May 9, 1942 in Madison, AL to Coleman Cleo Johnson and Bernice Burke Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Sallie Johnson; daughters, Kimberly Elliott (Carlton) and Connie Waddell; grandchildren, Cortney Patterson, Michelle Wilson, Benjamin Waddell, Ethan Elliott and Kari Eaton; great-grandchildren, Brinley Wilson, Avery Wilson, Chandler Wilson, Henry Patterson, Elliott Eaton (Ellie) and arriving soon, Jameson Eaton; brother, Bobby Johnson; sister, Betty Lowery and several nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private family visitation. There will be a graveside service for Mr. Johnson at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Wesley Chapel with Terry Thomas officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jim Wilson, Carlton Elliott, Matthew Patterson, Ethan Elliott, Tyler Eaton and Ben Waddell.
