James Glen "Jimbo" Speck James Glen “Jimbo” Speck, age 50 of Cowan, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Le Conte Medical Center in Sevierville. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on November 7, 1969 to the late J.O. and Barbara (Millsaps) Speck. Jimbo was currently employed as truck driver for Foster Trucking. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his truck and riding four-wheelers, as well as his Sunday mornings at Hardee’s. Jimbo loved to grill for the “Ya Yas,” Aunt Joyce Brown, and Aunt Hazel Gass. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ronnie Gass; and brother-in-law, Shayne Ray. Jimbo is survived by his loving wife, Brandi Gass Speck of Cowan; son, Jesse Speck of Cowan; daughter, Brianna Atkinson of Cookeville; mother-in-law, Barbara Lamb Gass; sister-in-law, Olivia Gass; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation with family and friends will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating. Interment will follow at Green Cemetery in Belvidere.
