James Gary “Jamie Vinson” Mace, age 42, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017. Visitation will be Sunday, 1-3 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jimmy Cole officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Jamie was an avid Auburn fan (“War Eagle”) and was a loving and devoted father, son, grandson, and brother. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Susan Richards Conyers (John); father, Gary Mace (Brenda); sons, Austin Vinson and Chase Vinson; daughter, Alex Vinson; brother, Jason Vinson (Aften); sister, Joi Davis Anderson (Dave); grandparents, James and Maggie Sue Richards and Lorine Weaver; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Chris Kerby, Trey Davis, Donald Robinette, Anthony Cole, Dave Anderson, and Tyler Kitchens.
