James “Gary” Gazaway, age 60, of Athens, AL passed away Monday, October 26, 2015. He was born in Atlanta, GA to Arthur James Gazaway and Barbara Mayo Anderson on May 5, 1955.
Gary was preceded in death by his step father, Reverend Barry Anderson.
Services will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 12:00PM at The Beasley Center at First United Methodist Church, Athens, AL. Visitation will follow the service.
There will be a church service at 2:00PM on Friday, October 30th at 1st Presbyterian Church in Tucker, GA. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery in Tucker, GA.
He is survived by his wife, Tricia Gazaway, son, James Reed Gazaway, daughter, Anna Kate Gazaway, his mother Barbara Mayo Anderson, father, Arthur James Gazaway Jr and his step-mother Myra Gazaway. Three sisters, Michelle Gazaway Van Dyke (David), Julie Gazaway Sprague (Gary) and Lindsay Gazaway Grissom (Benny), sixteen nieces and nephews and twelve great nieces and nephews.
