Graveside Funeral service and Interment for James Franklin Cowart, Sr., 74, will be Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Powers officiating Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Graveside at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Cowart died on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 7, 1943, in Morgan County to Paul Monroe Cowart and Annie Lou Kirby Cowart. He was employed as a landscaper. He was a loving father and grandfather and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Cowart, his parents, a son: Timothy Cowart and a granddaughter: Mary Motes.
