James Frank Sharpley, 64, died Monday, December 22, 2014. James was born May 31, 1950, in Lawrence County, to James Council and Irene Sharpley. James attended Morgan County Training School, and later married Floydella(Carter) Sharpley. He worked at Automatic Screw Machine Products for thirty-three years, and retired in 2010. James is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Floydella Sharpley; his children, Aree Sharpley (Donnetta), Andrea Barnes (Jeremy), and David Sharpley; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; four sisters; Pearline, Lettie, Priscilla, and Louise; two brothers, Joe and Charles.
Services will be Saturday, December 27, 2014, at 1 p.m. at El Shaddai Church in Decatur. Interment will be held at Springhill Cemetery, Decatur, AL.
