James Floyd Sills, aged 69, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Born on May 23, 1957, in Tupelo, MS, he was the son of James Marlin and Faye Patterson Sills. James was a graduate of North Pontotoc High School. He dedicated 15 years of his career to the furniture industry before transitioning to a career as a truck driver, a profession he held for the remainder of his life.
James is survived by his daughter, Charley Conlee, and his two grandchildren, Colton Hogue and Cailey Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, James Richard Sills.
No public services will be held. His final resting place will be in Warren Cemetery.
