James Evander Cagle, 56 of Haleyville, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024 at his residence.
He was born December 3, 1967 in Zanesville, Ohio to Bobbie Joe Cagle Sr. and Betty Thomas Cagle. James loved spending time with his only grandson, Jack. He enjoyed woodworking and building things. James had a creative mind and was talented when it came to building things with his hands. He also enjoyed old barns and silos.
Visitation will be Friday, May 31, 2024 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. where the memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Ricky White officiating.
James is survived by his wife, Amber Cagle; Sons, Cassidy, Brayden (Kaliah); grandson, Jack Cagle; siblings, Bobbie Cagle Jr., and Mona (Will) Shubert; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and many lifelong close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobbie Joe Sr. and Betty Cagle; sister, Melodie Oliver; grandparents, Orville and Opal Thomas, and James William and Savannah Cagle.
