James Emory Drake, 94, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Saturday.
He was preceded in death by father, Thomas Milton Drake; mother, Cora Lee Drake; one brother, Kenneth Drake and grandson, Eric Reed.
Surviving are wife of 68 years, Alta Rebecca Drake; children, Annette Drake (Paul) Hayaux, Rocky (Angela) Drake and Gina Drake (Travis) Hubbard; grandchildren, Leslie Reed (Brian), Ben Reed, Lexie Blackburn, Macy (Jonathan) Gordon; great grandchildren, Ethan Reed, Preston Blackburn, Adalynn Gordon; four sisters, Judy Webster, Lois Lovvorn, Louise Fuller and Frances Clay and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will follow Tuesday at 1:00 pm with Bro. Shannon Byrd officiating.
Interment will be in Green Valley Cemetery.
