James Elmer “Jimmy” Carson , age 58, of Florence, Alabama passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 at ECM Hospital. He was a native of Lauderdale County, Alabama, and a truck driver.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Danny Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Survivors are two sons, James David Carson and Danny Lee Carson, Florence, Alabama; mother, Villace Lorene Cobb, Killen, Alabama; sister, Patsy Carson, Florence, Alabama; brother, Danny Eugene Carson (Lorie), Florence, Alabama; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Columbus Carson; and brother, Randy Lee Carson.
