James Elmer “Jim” Blankenship, Sr., 83, of New Market, passed away Saturday.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Jean Blankenship; two daughters, Cheryl Annette Clouse and Lillian Inez Cresswell; three sons, Leslie Orrin Blankenship, Curtis Lee Blankenship, and James Elmer Blankenship, Jr.; nine granchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Blankenship was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, one brother, and two children.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 8th from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by chapel service at 2:00. Burial is at Locust Grove
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a humane society
