It is with great sadness that the family of James Edward Slaughter (Jim) of Sheffield, announce that he passed away in his sleep on Thursday, November 22, 2018, at the age of 65.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed & Juanita Slaugher and is survived by his brother, Mike (Tammy); niece and nephews, Garet, Miranda and Connor.
A private graveside service was held on Sunday, November 25 at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Clezell Prince for her steadfast, loving concern and care of Jim. Thank you to Kelly Vali for her love and kindness. Thank you to Kim Wilson and the wonderful staff at Cypress Cove for their compassionate care of him over the past 15 years.
