Mr. James Edward Hyde, Sr. age 73 of Albertville, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Mr. Hyde was born on September 27, 1945 in Marshall County to Frank Hyde & Maggie Atchley Hyde. He enjoyed gardening, watching T.V., traveling, Auburn Football & loved the company of his dogs. Mr. Hyde retired after 30 years serving as an Electrician Technician with Civil Service. He was married to the late Betty Joan Henderson Hyde who passed on May 22, 2017.
Mr. Hyde was survived by his sons, James E. Hyde Jr., Bryan Keith Hyde; sister, Evelyn Hyde Culberson; grandchildren, Harley James Hyde, Olivia Racheal Hyde-Sparbel; great grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Sparbel, Ridley Rayne Sparbel, Hartley Grace Sparbel. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank Hyde & Maggie Atchley Hyde; wife, Betty Hyde; son, Robert J. Hyde; brothers, Duane Hyde, William Hyde.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Gilliam Springs Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
