James Edward Dixon (Jim) passed away peacefully on October 31, 2022.
He was a gentle soul who had a love for nature and he always had an encouraging word. He was a painter by trade for most of his life. He lived a simple but happy life.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Beard Dixon, parents, Charles Edward Dixon, Frances Day Dixon, and brother, Ricky Dixon.
He is survived by his sister in law Gail Dixon Ford, who helped care for him daily, Terry Reeves, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and chosen son Antonio Baltazar. Special thanks to Kindred hospice, Christian and Alissa Pell and close friends Melinda and Regina.
Graveside services will be at New Bethel Cemetery on Saturday, November 12th at 2 pm. in Hokes Bluff.
