James Edward “Big Red” Flanagan, Jr., age 74, of Brilliant, AL. passed away Friday December 8, 2017. He was a retired Truck Driver and a member of Brock Church of Christ.

His visitation will be Monday December 11, 2017 rom 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, with the funeral at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial to follow in Brock Cemetery.

James is survived by his wife, Wanda Dykes Flanagan; daughters, Tammy (Tommy) Woodard of Brilliant, AL. and Traci (Tim) Autrey of Guin, AL.; grandchildren, Joshua Moore of Austin, Tx., Emily (Matt) Wilson of Brilliant, AL., Levi (Haley) Autrey of Northport, AL. and Jonathon Autrey of Guin, AL.; great grandchildren, Xander Moore and Zoey Moore of Atlantic, IA.; sisters and brothers, Margret Lolley, Elaine Harris, Donald Flanagan and Wayne Flanagan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Flanagan, Sr., and Christine Silas Flanagan; brother, Johnny Flanagan; sister, Elosie Lolley; great granddaughter, Raegan Renee Moore.
