James E. Rogers, 86, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017. Visitation will be Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will be Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Brother Greg Woodall will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Mr. Rogers was a member of The American Legion and also of Muscle Shoals Church of God.
Preceded in death by parents, Arcie and Altie Rogers; wife, Birdie Mae Rogers; IC Rogers, Clinton Rogers, Leonard Rogers, Matthew Rogers, and Bertha Mae Critenden.
Survivors are daughters, Patricia Gray (Benny) and Dewanna Jarrell (Wayland); son, Chad Rogers; Grandchildren, Benjamin Gray (Renee), Brandon Gray (Sarah), Seth Jarrell and Nathan Jarrell (Kaila); great grandchildren, Jonah and Ema Gray and Aaron Gray.
Pallbearers are Benjamin Gray, Brandon Gray, Seth Jarrell, Nathan Jarrell, Carlos Berry, and Roy Rogers.
