James E. Owens Sr. 75, passed away Thursday September 24, 2020 in New Market, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Ann Owens; his parents Emmett and Louise Marshall Owens; one brother Bill Owens; one sister Marie Inman.
James was the best husband, father, and Grampy everyone will remember lovingly. James is survived by his daughter Torre (Eric) Hanvey, sons James (Krishelle) Owens Jr., Corey (Teresa) Owens, and Kevin (Amy) Owens. Grandchildren, Mallory (Jay) Robinson, Lindsey (Jake) Shumate, Adler, Tyler, and Addison, and brother Fred (Cathy) Owens. Special relatives in Arkansas, Georgia, and Maine.
James E. Owens Sr. served our country in the U.S. Army from June 24, 1963 to June 30, 1983, his service included tours of duty in the Vietnam and Desert Storm. Following retirement he continued in civil service in the area of logistics on Redstone Arsenal.
