James E. “Jim” Ingram, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, October 08, 2013 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, long time Lawrence County youth baseball coach, and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Odis B. and Cora Warhurst Ingram; his first wife of 45 years, Ailene Wright Ingram; one son, Jerry Ingram; and two sisters, Hazel Brown and Barbara Thompson.

He is survived by

Dorothy Roper Ingram, Lawrenceburg, TN

Two Daughters –
Kathy Dowdy, Lawrenceburg, TN
Jan Williams (Joe), Leoma, TN

One Son –
Stan Ingram (Debbie), Florence, AL

One Step-Son –
Talmadge Roper (Tonya), Loretto, TN

Two Step-Daughters –
Joan Smith (Bill), Loretto, TN
Linda Garner (Danny), Leoma, TN

One Sister –
Faye Marston, Lawrenceburg, TN

Five Grandchildren
Eight Great-Grandchildren

Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 09, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 09, 2013, with Bro. Ronald Mashburn officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
