James E. (Jamup) Brewer – Obituary

James E. (Jamup) Brewer, the son of the late Walter Ernest and Ida Robertson Brewer, was retired from Murray Ohio manufacturing, of the Baptist faith and a United States Army veteran. He departed this life Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Waynesboro Health and Rehab, Waynesboro, Tennessee, at the age of 80 years, six months, and 14 days.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Peden Brewer, Collinwood, Tennessee; son, James (Jamie) Brewer II, (Tammy), Collinwood, Tennessee; daughter, Connie Oleham, (David), Florence, Alabama; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Brewer, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; sisters, Marie Rich, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Louise Lancaster, Iron City, Tennessee, and Carolyn Holt, Collinwood, Tennessee; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with John E. Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.

Pallbearers will be Cecil, Darrell and Pete Holt, Kevin Rich, and Anthony and Jason Brewer.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, June 1, 2017, from noon until service time at the funeral home.
