James Dwight McGuire, age 72, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, August 20th, 2015, at his residence, as a result of an accident.
Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 22nd, 2015, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 23rd, 2015, at Poplar Log Church, Hamilton, Alabama. Burial in Poplar Log Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.
James was born October 19th, 1942, in Winston County, Alabama, to the late John Milton and Ruby Edmonds McGuire.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Harrison McGuire; children, Anthony (Tonia) McGuire, Telena (Greg) Harden, Daniel (Jennifer) McGuire, and Samuel (Sabrina) McGuire; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Nash, and Laken McGuire, Rylee Hardin, Clark McGuire, and Haley McGuire; siblings, Junior (Helen) McGuire, Delores Watson, and Linda Gale (Lonnie) Hopson; sisters-in-law, Inez McGuire, Lille Mae McGuire, and Vernese McGuire (Jay) Sullins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Milton and Ruby Edmonds McGuire; granddaughter, McKenzie Hardin; siblings, Harvey McGuire, Dave McGuire, JC McGuire, Diddle McGuire, Marie McGuire, Elmer McGuire, and Iva Dean McGuire.
