Mr. James Dillard Goble, age 82, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on February 1, 2026. He was born on August 5, 1943, to the late Leldon and Grace Goble.
James loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Olivia Goble (Tony) and Bubba Goble (Vicki); grandchildren, Pam Brookins, Khristen Taylor, Javie Holmes, Alex Pascual, and Tristan Pascual; and great-grandchildren, Braxton Farmer, Bryliee Farmer, Crymson Chapman, Christopher Reynolds, Phenyx Taylor, Jensyn Taylor, Killeon Taylor, Vincent Holmes, Kairi Holmes, Illabei Morrison, Blythe Holmes, Leilani Morrison, Vexyn Holmes, Emma Pascual, Jeremiah Pascual, Malachia Pascual, and Grayson Pascual. He is also survived by his siblings, Julia Long, Rubie Kay Mobley, and Jimmy Lee Goble. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Ruth Goble; his stepdaughter, Wanda Watkins; and seven siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 9, 2026, in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.
