James “Dexter” Robison, 79, of Madison, passed away Sunday. Mr. Robison retired from the Madison County Health Department after more than 30 years of service as an Environmentalist. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for 56 years. Mr. Robison was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Robison; two daughters, Lisa Walls (Jessie) and Janet Ballinger (Phillip); five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virgie Hovis and Bertie Davis; and brother, Kenneth Robison.
Visitation will be Monday, September 15th from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Service will be Tuesday, September 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Madison and Rev. Ernest Hill officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
