David is survived by his wife, Kim Young; son, James David Young; grandchild, David Jax Young; brothers, Kenneth, Jackie, Tim, Calvin, Larry, Alvin, and Ricky Young; sisters, Brenda Daniels, Peggy Webb, Patricia Young, Nancy Brewer, and Patsy Young.
