James David “JD” Brewer, 83, died Saturday, March 23, 2013. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Loretto Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Gum Springs Cemetery with military honors. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard as sergeant for 21 years.
