We are sad to relay the death of our son and brother, James David Carroll on Sunday, December 28, 2025.
He was born in Port Arthur, TX on March 31, 1971 and lived in the area for 15 years. He then moved to Decatur, AL and lived there until his high school graduation in 1989. He joined the Army in 1990 and at the age of 19 he served in Operation Desert Storm. After leaving the Army, he made his home in the Fort Stewart area of Georgia.
He is survived by his parents, James and Karen Carroll; brother, Michael Carroll; grandparents, CO and Beth Burns, James and Oma Jean Carroll; two aunts, Judy Martin and Peggy Hilton; four cousins, Kerry Estes, Scott Estes, Scott Martin, and Shawna Gallo.
At the time of passing, he was proud to serve as a Georgia State Police Officer. Per David’s wishes there will be no Memorial Service.
