Mr. James Dalton McDaniel, 91 of Florence passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. He was a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ, and a WWII Navy veteran.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donnie McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery with military funeral honors.
Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Holt McDaniel; parents, Jim and Molly McDaniel; brothers, Eldon, Billy, and Edward McDaniel; sisters, Reddy Simmons and Mae Chaney.
He is survived by his sons, Jerry McDaniel (Susan), Donnie McDaniel (Carolyn); grandchildren, Jason McDaniel (Heather), Jeremy McDaniel (Rachel), Jordan McDaniel (Hannah), John McDaniel, Melanie Harrison (Brandon); great-grandchildren, Taylor, Chandler, Evan, Dylan, and Kelsie McDaniel, and Reece Harrison.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Jason, Jeremy, Jordan, John, Taylor, Chandler, and Evan McDaniel.
