Funeral services for Mr. James Dale Cotham, age 78, will be held on Friday August 1, 2025, at 1pm in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home with Steve Skelton and Tommy Hunt officiating, burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery in Dyer, TN. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 31, 2025, from 5pm until 8pm and on Friday August 1, 2025, from 11am until service time in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home.
Mr. Cotham, a former employee at Milan Army Ammunition Plant (MLAAP), passed away Tuesday July 29, 2025, at Arbors Assisted Living in Milan, TN.
Mr. Cotham was preceded in death by his parents, Louit Hollis and Dorothy Jewell (Jones) Cotham; a sister, Joyce Ann Hampton; and a brother, Gerald Butch Cotham.
Mr. Cotham is survived by his wife, Katrina Cotham; a daughter, Kristy Burkett and husband Bishop; a son, Hollis Hunter Cotham and wife Heather all of Trenton, TN; a stepson, Gary Mosley and wife Tabatha of Milan, TN; a brother, William Henry Cotham and wife Maggie of Trenton, TN; a grandson, London Burkett; and two step-granddaughters, Breanna and Hanna Mosley.
Pallbearers to serve will be Rickey Edwards, Hunter Bush, Steve Hall, London Burkett, Jimmy Cotham, and Randy Terry.
