James D. “Randy” Stone, age 61, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, February 2, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, 11:30 – 1 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Harold Shaw and Chad Holder officiating. Burial will be in Crooked Oak Cemetery.
Randy was a native of Colbert County, a 1970 graduate of Deshler High School, a long- time employee of Foodland, Tuscumbia and a member of Gospel Truth Church, Sheffield. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lela Mae Stone and sister, Margaret Lee Black.
He is survived by his wife Mary K. Stone, brother, Jerry Grissom (Lib) and nephew, Marcel Black (Martha).
Pallbearers are James Hester, Kenneth Hester, Edgar Black, Steve Everett, Marcel Black and Willie Freeman.
