James Craig Campbell passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on April 29, 2021 in Huntsville, AL at the age of 57.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, James F. Campbell of Altoona, AL. He is survived by his wife, Julie Campbell; his mother, Louise M. Campbell of Altoona, AL; siblings, Kathy Hopkins (Johnnie), Donna Tucker (Jerry) and Ken Campbell (Janet); sons, JJ Foster (Candis), Johnny Cupp (Haley), Cory Campbell (Brittany) and Caleb Campbell (Lynsie); and his 8 grandchildren; along with many other family members that he loved dearly.
Craig was a loving husband, father and “Gran”. He also loved his dogs, especially his boxer, Ringo, who rode to work with him every day. He will be remembered for his kindness, compassion and selfless service. Traveling to Alabama football games in his motorhome was his passion. He also enjoyed time on the lake in his boat and hunting with friends. He was a respected, successful businessman who spent a lifetime helping build and improve homes throughout our community.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. The Graveside Service will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The University of Alabama Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund in honor of Craig.
