Funeral service for James Clifford Barger Sr. “Cliff” 73, will be Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Alred officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Lawrence Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Barger died on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at his residence in Georgia. He was born February 4, 1949, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Clifford Barger and Mary Sherrod Stack. Mr Barger was a Reverend and Assistant Pastor at Unity Freewill Baptist Church in Cullman, AL., a member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock in Woodstock, GA., a Scoutmaster with 50+ years of Boy Scouting Service, and he was a Freemason. He was the Owner and Operator of Superior Auto Glass in Acworth, Georgia for 30+ years. He was also a United States Army Veteran, he served in the 1st/20th 11th LIB Delta Company Americal Division in Vietnam. Preceding him in death were his parents and a son: James Clifford, Jr.
