James Cecil Waters Jr., of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. “Jim”, to all of his friends and family, was born in Church Point Louisiana in 1946. He served as a Navy Hospital Corpsman.
Jim was a natural born builder from the time he picked up his first tool. He developed into a master carpenter resulting in Jim being chosen to be the construction manager of many convention center developments in Las Vegas. After retirement, he moved to Huntsville Alabama with his wife, Auchura.
Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte, and his parents, James and Gladie Waters. Survivors include his wife, Auchura: son, James Waters of Franklin TN; daughter, Wendy Waters of Nashville TN; four grandchildren, Sebastian Waters, Cameron Waters, and Izabel Waters of Orange Beach Al and Kaia Waters of Nashville TN.
Visitation will be held on Friday Aug 27 at 9am at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by a funeral service with Military Honors at 10am.
