Mr. James Carter Banister, age 73, of Arab, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Banister was born on March 18, 1945 to Sherman Noah Banister & Martha Ann Stone Banister in Cullman County. In his past time Mr Bannister enjoyed golfing & spending time outdoors. He loved his family especially his grandchildren. Mr. Banister was a minister several Baptist Churches in Blount and Cullman County.
Mr. Banister was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Judy Ann Nolen Banister; son & daughter-in-law, Patrick Banister & Stacie; grandchildren, Paetyn Banister, Haedyn Banister, Patterson Banister. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Kris Banister; brothers, Johnny Banister, Jack Banister; grandchild, Andrew Banister.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday July 20, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday July 19, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
