Dr. James Canerday, Jr. 83, of Florence, passed away at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital on November 28, 2016. He was a chiropractor in Florence for 37 years.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Park Love Mausoleum with Charles Abernathy officiating.
Survivors include his daughter, Darian Sloan of Madison, AL; son, Keller Canerday of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Joseph Sloan of Roi Namur, Marshall Islands, Drew and Kellyanne Sloan of Madison, AL; great-grandchildren, Emily and Sophi Canerday of Houston, TX; and sister, Peggy Ann Hairrell of Decatur, AL.
At Dr. Canerday’s request, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at PO Box 1000 Dept. 300 Memphis, TN 381489-0552.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
