Mr. James “Bossy” Edward Parker, Jr., age 86, of Baileyton the Hulaco-Ryan Community, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Parker was born on August 4, 1931 in Warrior to James Edward Parker, Sr. & Lucy Belle Gill Parker. Mr. Parker enjoyed gardening, traveling, shopping, animals, spending time with his family and eating out a Cracker Barrel.
He is a member of Hill Top Church of God,
Mrs. Parker is survived by his sons & daughter-in-laws, Kevin Edward Parker & Becky, James Heath Parker & Wendy, Tony Brownlow Talley & Michelle; daughter, Tammy Jo Calahan; step son, Henry Hill; 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Ruth Golsby; host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; late wives, Betty Jo Mardis Parker & Carol J. Feasler Parker; step daughter, Jo Anne Hill; sisters, Margie Kirk & Maggie Landrum.
Funeral service will be 2:00 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Brad Tollison, officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will include: Shane Parker, Shaley Parker, Dakota Parker, Kyle parker, Justin Cater, Austin Echevarria. Honorary pallbearers: Andre Echevarria, Derek Little & Hunter Talley.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
