James Barry Hightower was born, February 14, 1943. He went to his forever home, Tuesday, August 18, 2015. He was born to the late Zeke “An ‘nay” Hightower and Lona Witzel Hightower.
He considered his daughters Brooke Pate and Britney Biehn his finest accomplishments. He would just glow when they sang. He loved his sons-in-law, Shaun Pate and Andrew Biehn as well as his wife of forty-two years, Becky James Hightower. He would always tell his grandbabies, Ruthie and Reace, how much he loved them and they were his absolute favorites.
Barry loved life! He loved raw oysters, the Tennessee River, chocolate, lovely ladies, and Harley Motorcycles. He had a tremendous love affair with antique clocks and pocket watches. He made everyone he touched happy. His positive attitude and charming personality will make people smile for years to come.
The funeral service for Barry will be Friday, August, 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel in Tuscumbia with Rev. Bill Bedsole and Rev. Rudy Guess officiating.
