Mr. James Barrow, age 73, passed away early Monday in Jackson. He was born March 30, 1949 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Robert and Mamzie Elizabeth Mathis Barrow. He was retired Ag Teacher and Vocational Director for Henderson County Board of Education and he loved old cars and equipment. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and eating at the Scotts Hill Café. Survivors include his two sons, Michael Barrow and Robin Barrow (Kelli); his daughter, Dana Beth Johnson (Dan); his brother, Mike Barrow (Patty); four grandchildren, Elizabeth Barrow, Christopher Barrow, Savannah Johnson, and Cooper Johnson; and several bonus grands.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Walker Cemetery near Paris. The family will receive friends on Friday 4-9 PM and on Saturday, 9 AM – 1 PM.
