James Arthur Dodge, age 81, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Red Cedar Glen in Hendersonville. In accordance with his wishes Mr. Dodge’s remains will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Mr. Dodge was born September 9, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Mr. Llewellyn Dodge and Mrs. Margaret Lynch Dodge. He was the owner and operator of a catering business and café.
In addition to his father, Mr. Dodge is preceded in death by his wife Gail Ann Vitters Dodge.
In addition to his mother Mr. Dodge is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Stacy Dodge; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Ken Sutton; brother, David Dodge; sister, Susan Gebers; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
