James AJames Arthur “Bill” Jones, 92, a devoted husband and father, passed away peacefuly Thursday, March 7, 2013, surrounded by his family and friends.
Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park.

Memorials to be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, Fort Worth, Texas.

Bill was born in Decatur, AL. to Edith and Thomas Jervis Jones.

After 40 years, Bill retired from Lockheed Martin (General Dynamics) as an Aeronautical Engineer. He was a veteran of World War II serving in both the Army and Air Force. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and later All Saints Episcopal Church. His greatest love of life was his family.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Jervis, Robert and Stanley Jones.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Betty Ann Cavender Jones; daughter, Debra Ann Cooper and husband, Joe B. III; son, David Cavender; grandsons, Joe B. Cooper IV, Robert Cooper, Jeremy Jones and Corey Jones; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Maurice Jones.
