James Arlyn Brown – Obituary

James Arlyn Brown, 71, of Huntsville passed away Wednesday at a local hospital. Arlyn was a retired depot manager for Ameripride Linen and was a volunteer for the Red Cross for many years. He was a craftsman and was known for his excellent cooking. He was a member of Toney Holiness Church. Arlyn was preceded in death by his parents: James Oakley Brown and Edna Goza Brown and by one brother: Horace Brown. Survivors include his wife of 52 years: Delores Brown; one son: Jamie and Felicia Brown; two grandchildren: Corey and Cody Brown; one sister: Norma Jones; one brother: Henry and Faye Brown and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with a Chapel service Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. David Kittell and Bro. Paul Stover officiating. Burial will follow in Underwood Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Red Cross.
